Trades, inspect for quality and functionality help customer with what is best for their need regarding the trade. Clean store. Open store: make sure safe and all cash drawers are the right amount, add any price changes and ensure the store is presentable for customers. Close store: wrap up all business with customers, put away all value items, put cash drawers and safe amounts where they should be, ready the deposit, clean up, and leave the store in a timely matter.

Pick up deliveries from restaurants and deliver them to customers in a safe, timely manner. Greet customer both on the phone and in person nicely and professionally. Work with dispatchers and customer service when applicable.

VA Work Study. Interact with customers filing for unemployment insurance and helping to look for jobs, set up emails, write resumes, navigate adws website, answer phones, run the front desk.

Worked at the Cook Plant location in cold packing area known as Pack Out. Started as a Bagger Operator running PacMac baggers and Ishida Scales. Running the baggers included; loading film, loading printing ribbon, and set up and tear down. Also, helped give breaks in other positions in the plant. Then moved on to become a Mechanic after about 6 months. I was primarily responsible for the maintenance on line 2 in the packing end workings nights. Later on, moved to days and was responsible for line 3. Being a mechanic I had to understand all of the machinery involved. I not only had to keep the lines running, but also had to troubleshoot and see potential problems before they became worse. Also, on the few down days had to do any preventive maintenance and major maintenance that can't be done on the spot. Got moved to being a Bagger Tech and taking care of all maintenance on the baggers before leaving to pursue education opportunities. Also, needed to have various licenses for equipment, be they forklifts, scissor lifts, or whatever we needed to work on equipment.

Main duty: Shop Supervisor. In Patrol Squadron 16-Work on and do periodic maintenance on T-56 Turboprop engines for P-3C and later CFM-56 Turbofan engines P-8A Poseidon aircraft. In Fleet Readiness Center Southeast- In Work Center 411/412 became a Shop Supervisor Collateral Duty Instructor responsible for overall builds of turbine sections of the T-56, also for the Engine Driven Compressors and Auxiliary Power Units that aid the engine in being self sufficient.Collateral Duties: Took fuel samples, Tools, Publications, Hazmat. Temporary Duties: Line Shack-Launch and recover aircraft as well as taking care of support equipment. and towing. Geedunk-Run squadron shop efficiently, restocking, making sure the count is ok at either the beginning or end of shift. Ceremonial Guard-Perform funeral and retirement detail as the base, churches, and National Cemetery. At the National Cemetery help get backlog of funerals for new cemetery. Do different duties like, play bugle, flag folding, rifle salutes, color guard.Had to hold several different licenses for forklifts, support equipment, towing equipment.

Started out stacking cases of dog food on a pallet or slipsheet in various designs until pallet was full then start a new pallet for approximately 6 months until moved I up to a Machine Operator. Responsible for Theile Cartoner setting up, loading cartons, keeping glue filled, and making sure printer was setup, fixing jams and keeping it running correctly. Helped give breaks until I knew all of the machinery in the plant well. Company started a Swing Crew to help give out breaks and run machinery if someone didn't come in or needed to go home. Then left to pursue a Naval career.
