Finance and operations lead for publicly quoted company, delivering content, technology and managed service solutions to the esports and gaming sector. Gfinity's business operates across 3 segments:1) Digital Media - Creating esports and gaming news and content distributed across owned websites and social channels, reaching more than 75m gamers every month.2) SaaS - Licensing Gfinity's proprietary Athlos technology to game publishers to allow them to deploy competitive gaming functionality directly into their games, driving user adoption and engagement.3) Esports Solutions - Delivery consultancy and managed esports programmes to organisations, including game publishes, sports rights holders and traditional brands, looking to use competitive gaming as a way to engage with a generation whose leisure activity of choice is video gaming.Having joined as a start up, I led the IPO of the business, within 6 months of joining to become the world's first publicly quoted esports business in December 2014.As a board member of the plc, along with a number of subsidiary businesses, I have responsibility for all aspects of financial reporting and corporate governance, investor relations and capital raising. This has included the raising of over £50m for the business, the acquisition of multiple businesses, both in UK and US and the establishment of a number of joint venture entities.Outside of Finance, my responsibilities also included oversight of all legal, HR and technology matters, along with operations of Gfinity Esports Solutions business, delivering managed esports programmes, along with esports and broader gaming strategies for a number of blue chip clients.

I initially joined in a Commercial Finance role, acting as a business partner, to Senior Partners across the Business Transformation Group.Following two years in this role, I moved into the management consulting side of the business, within the Business Operations and Performance team, supporting clients across both the public and private sector in creating the right organisation design and supporting business processes to enable them to deliver on their strategic goals.
