Oversee and execute the annual Greater Los Angeles Homeless Counts’ (GLAHC) $1.5 million dollar budget, all corporate donations and sponsorships, and internal LAHSA volunteer recruitment. Under my leadership, company-wide volunteering has increased by 75%.Under my leadership, the GLAHC has recruited 45% more volunteers, just over 8000.By collaborating with elected officials, business and community leaders, I increased participation, effectiveness, and volunteer and community engagement.Provide direct leadership, management, and ongoing guidance to the 11-member planning unit, consisting of two supervisors and nine regional coordinators to successfully enhance and build community partnerships throughout Los Angeles County to work cross-functionally with all levels of management and leadership, including service providers, city and county departments, media, faith and civic groups.Oversee and lead the Homeless Count Advisory Board, increasing feedback, input, and guidance from a diverse and inclusive group of industry experts, faith leaders, people with homeless lived experience, and community leaders.Developed and lead the Lived Experience Advisory Group, ensuring the crucial “lived experience” voice is incorporated throughout LAHSAs’ policies and procedures to ensure solutions to homelessness are not made for those with lived experience but with them. Created and executed LAHSAs’ homeless count policies and procedures, the roles and responsibilities of regional coordinator supervisors, and the regional coordinator handbook.Provide ongoing support, professional development, and implementation of industry best practices including trauma informed care, harm reduction, and data-driven solutions.Oversaw the GLAHC rebrand, video training production, and communications materials and strategy.

- Strategize and Develop a sustainable model for an annual Homeless Count model for the Los Angeles Continuum of Care. - Develop a digital strategy and instructional design format for all training materials and curriculum for Homeless Count trainers, site coordinators, and volunteers.- Maintain effective oversight, communication and support to each community planning groups within the Service Provider Area (SPA)- Recruit communities in the SPA 4 Metro Los Angeles area, the largest and most dense homeless population in the county of Los Angeles, to participate in the Homeless Count and Opt-In Program.- Secure deployment center locations and deployment site coordinators across the SPA.- Plan, assign, train, and direct the work of over 1000 volunteers.- Provide ongoing guidance, training, tools and assistance to Site Coordinators- Work with neighborhood and city councils, city managers, mayors, and Los Angeles County District Supervisors and departments to coordinate the recruitment of volunteers and workers.- Assist with the coordination, distribution and collection of Homeless Count materials.- Secure local and corporate sponsorships and partnerships to support and enhance Homeless Count activities- Utilize social media & community organizing tools to promote awareness of volunteering for the Count.- Provide SPA-level quality assurance by reviewing the street count tally sheets and demographic surveys for completeness and accuracy.- Work with community service providers and other local partners to ensure an accurate and comprehensive list of housing programs for the Shelter Count.- Support, assist, strategize, and execute Youth Count efforts.

Managed, coordinated, and implemented trainings for all 66 community volunteer groups, consisting of over 1000 participants and 169 leaders and connected them to weekly, monthly, and annual volunteer opportunities from our diverse local and global partners.Wrote and developed Ecclesia’s missiology, local and global outreach initiatives, philosophy, and policies.Created and streamlined the structure and training curriculum for all volunteer community outreach initiatives utilizing a variety of multimedia platforms for volunteer group participants and leaders.Oversaw and managed Ecclesia’s outreach budget of $150,000 for all local and global partners.Lead global outreach teams, coordinating all logistics including all accommodations, flights, visa processes, food and transportation.

Developed, managed, and executed various after-school music and art programs for at-risk youth in grades 3-12 as well as mentored and provided counsel for at-risk youth and their families.Lead and managed a team of 5 staff and 2 interns to implement and achieve Oasis of Hollywood’s goals and vision. Implemented industry best practices of harm reduction counseling, trauma informed care, and motivational interviewing.
