The end result was a professionally polished subject matter expert of all things “Retail Investment” with Fidelity Investments.My transition from service representative to Help Desk was huge. It meant I was a proven subject matter expert on advanced trading (options/derivatives, bonds, stocks), in-house policy and procedure, as well as coaching mentor and team development. This role was with individual customers at or above $5,000,000 in assets with Fidelity Investments. After my time on Help Desk, I was given an opportunity to transition to become a Retail Facilitator for Beginning & Advanced Trading courses such as the Series 7 exam,mutual fund trading, up to options/derivative trading. I worked closely with the National L&D employees to develop supplemental course material as well lesson plans, training aids, and team building exercises for advanced learning objectives and systems. Beyond my capacity to teach was a different side of Fidelity I had not experienced and chose to transition to after a time in Facilitation, which was Institutional Wealth Services. Here, I became a service advisor to third-party companies whom used Fidelity Investments as their CRM and Trading Platform, as well as legal and policy & procedure.
