In the summer of 2019 I completed a 12-week internship as a Digital Media Analyst at a marketing and advertising agency. I was in charge of analysing digital media advertisements for a number of clients and tracking their progress, allowing me to use and further develop my data science skills. I was also responsible for writing client reports summarising the performance of their adverting campaigns and for providing detailed suggestions for improvements that could boost engagement. The internship allowed me to use my experience with Python in a work environment and produce results that could be used in client reports. I also became proficient in using other data analysis tools such as Google Analytics and Data Studio and was able to develop my Excel skills further.
