Reporting to Head of Project Management and managing a team of 5 Project engineers responsible for the delivery of all Nuclear Projects within Clyde Pumps. Managing a team of 7 Project engineers responsible for all major projects (-£15M) in the Industrial, Conventional Power & Water markets from order definition through engineering & procurement to manufacture and delivery. Management of project costs and risk to ensure on-time delivery of projects to specified budget. Interface with clients and company senior management.

Reporting to the Quality Director established a new team of 5 engineers to focus on both technical & commercial resolution of warranty issues. With an emphasis on problem -solving under significant time constraints this role included extensive travel overseas to investigate site problems, liasing with customers and the preparation of technical justifications and commercial claims in order to ensure customer satisfaction and minimise company exposure.

Reporting to the Projects Director directly responsible for 8 project engineers managing standard products business consisting of approximately 60 projects (Value: £2-3M). Responsible for projects from order receipt through to delivery, installation & commissioning and warranty.

Responsible for delivery of major projects from order receipt through to completion ensuring project budgets and milestones achieved. Supervision and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary team of 10-15 engineers; including engineering/design, procurement, manufacture and test.Identification and management of technical/commercial project risks. Interface with client, reporting to senior management and management of sub-contractors. Included shaker-table testing at National Engineering Laboratory - East Kilbride.

Initially responsible for design of low pressure pumps before becoming project engineer accountable for both technical/commercial aspects of projects. Generation of specifications for procurement of sub-contract equipment (e.g. motors, coupling, seals).
