• Reporting to Head of Project Management and managing a team of 5 Project engineers responsible for the delivery of all Nuclear Projects within Clyde Pumps. Responsibilities include maintaining/improving project costs.

• Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant, NPQJVC, China, Value £14.8M, Supply of 24 Coded & Non-coded pumps
• Hongyanhe & Ning De Nuclear Power Plants, CNPEC, China, Value £19.5M, Supply of 24 Coded pumps
• Yangjiang & Hongyanhe 3 & 4 Nuclear Power Plants, CNPEC, China, Value £20M, Supply of 20 Coded pumps

Managing a team of 7 Project engineers responsible for all major projects (-£15M) in the Industrial, Conventional Power & Water markets from order definition through engineering & procurement to manufacture and delivery. Management of project costs and risk to ensure on-time delivery of projects to specified budget. Interface with clients and company.

Reporting to the Quality Director established a new team of 5 engineers to focus on both technical & commercial resolution of warranty issues. With an emphasis on problem -solving under significant time constraints this role included extensive travel overseas to investigate site problems, liasing with customers and the preparation of technical.

Reporting to the Projects Director directly responsible for 8 project engineers managing standard products business consisting of approximately 60 projects (Value: £2-3M). Responsible for projects from order receipt through to delivery, installation & commissioning and warranty.

• Responsible for delivery of major projects from order receipt through to completion ensuring project budgets and milestones achieved. Supervision and co-ordination of multi-disciplinary team of 10-15 engineers.
• Astute Class Submarine Secondary Loop Pumps; BAE Systems: Value £4.1M: Supply of 73 pumpsets and equipment for submarine main propulsion system.
• Astute Class Submarine Air Turbine Pump; Strachan & Henshaw; Value: £2.3M: Supply of 6 pumps as part of submarine weapon launch system.
• Type 45 Destroyer Pump Package; BAE Systems; Value: £2.1M: Supply of 200 pumpsets for new destroyer build programme.
• Vanguard Refit; DML Devonport; Value: £1.2M: Supply of new Main Feed, Extraction, & Lubricating Oil pumps for refit of HMS Vanguard.
• Bristol Port Berth 7 Impounding Dock Pumps; The Bristol Port Company: Value £1.2M: M&E contract for supply, installation & commissioning of 6 submersible pumps, associated PLC control equipment and transformers.

• Initially responsible for design of low pressure pumps before becoming project engineer accountable for both technical/commercial aspects of projects. Generation of specifications for procurement of sub-contract.
• Development of column pipe design programme (written in Visual Basic) to generate column pipe drawings in accordance with BS:PD5500 design code.
