Duties include:• Carrying out inspection and corrosion monitoring of oil & gas surface production equipment, including pressure vessels, process piping, pipeline risers, aboveground storage tank refurbishments, Gas Plant and other production facility turnarounds, and fixed offshore structures, per the relevant international, government, and company codes & standards (API, ASME, AWS, DPR, SERIP).• Collation and review of engineering & inspection data for Integrity Report input into Metegrity Visions, Asset Integrity Management software database.• Identification and FFS evaluation of damage mechanisms. Mobil Offshore Repair Project, Nigeria for Willbros (Nig) Ltd, involving the corrosion survey and repair of production platform pressure equipment, process pipework and pipeline risers.Duties include supervision of NDT & inspection personnel on three vessels, pipeline riser corrosion surveys, inspection of in-service process piping and pressure vessels, quality control of repair fabrications, AutoCAD drafting of as-found & as-built drawings, and compilation of as-built documentation packages.

Shell EA Project, Globestar Yard, Warri, Nigeria for Stolt Offshore, involving the construction of three offshore platform jackets and decks.Duties include U/T & MPI of jacket TKY welds, supervision of national radiographic crews, radiographic interpretation, and inspection of welder qualification tests and production welding.

Shell Ekulama & Nembe Creek AG Gathering Pipeline Projects, Nigeria, for Bouygues Offshore & Willbros (Nig) Ltd. Swamp lay barge; 6”, 12”, 18”, 24” & 28” pipelines utilizing x-ray/gamma crawlers, plus flow station structural installations and tie-ins. Duties include inspection of welder qualification tests and production welding, supervision of NDT crews, radiographic interpretation, and MPI & U/T on structural work.Brass Exploration Unlimited, Nigeria. Installation of wellhead jacket, deck & bridge structures in the Abana / Efiat field. Monitoring of all welding/installation activities including the battered piling of two tripod mooring dolphins for the floating production vessel “FPF Agbani”. Ultrasonic testing of structural welds.

Inspection of welder qualification tests, maintaining daily welding/installation documentation, dimensional checks/preparation of as-built drawings, radiographic interpretation of pipeline welds & U/T on jacket pile and caisson welds.LNG Bonny 36” Gas Pipeline, Nigeria. Land & swamp-laybarge. Radiographic interpretation of pipeline and tie-in welds.

Texaco Lombo East & Chevron Nemba platforms, Angola & Cabinda. Subsea riser tie-in spools. Seconded to ETPM onboard DSV Toisa Puma.RT and radiographic interpretation.

Nigeria

Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Bonny Export Terminal, Sea Island. Installation and hook-up of fourteen offshore jackets, topsides, and bridges. Seconded to IPCO Nigeria Ltd. Monitoring of all welding, installation, & inspection activities, followed by a compilation of as-built documentation packages.

Projects include various diameter pipelay, utilizing x-ray/gamma crawlers, platform & caisson installations, and hook-up. Corrosion gauging survey carried out on Global DLB Cheyenne laybarge for ABS certification, Ghana. Assessment of welder qualification tests.Employed on Bouygues Offshore BOS 355 laybarge, working on various pipelay and platform installation projects, offshore Nigeria, and Cameroon for Mobil & Elf. Employed by Inspectorate UK, based primarily at British Steel Works, Llanwern, Newport, Wales. NDT and mechanical equipment inspection at British Steel Works and various other locations in the vicinity, including the Severn Bridge Strengthening Project, following the completion of a 6-month NDT and inspection training program at the Antrim, Northern Ireland branch.
