Part of the initial Business Case team, I was instrumental in taking the conception idea and helping to turn it into reality. Responsible for recording and analyzing the current 'as-is' PMO reporting state for the Smart Motorway Programme @ National Highways and transforming it into the first fully digital programme with over 50+ reporting lenses giving unique insights from an asset component level to Project, Programme and Board level perspective.The Business Information Framework (BIF) provided over £13 million of efficiencies* over the RIS2 period.*indepentantly assured and unwritten

MAFA Peak Forest to London Freight Capacity ImprovementsThe objective of the project was to install the necessary infrastructure to allow longer freight trains to operate from the Peak District quarries to London. The project incorporated two main work sites 70 miles apart. The larger of the two work sites involved installation of 2.5km loop line to the side of the midland mainline that required embankment widening, extension to 2no. brick under bridges, New OLE bases, Replacement of signalling gantry and installation of 2no. S&C units.Initial NR3/4 Cost reimbursable contract to develop a NR12 Target Cost Contract. £20-30million value.

East London Line ProjectThe ELLP used existing operational and disused transport links to create a new north-south link for the East of London stretching from Dalston Junction in the north to Crystal Palace and Croydon in the south. Involving new track, signalling, telecommunications and electrification as well as major civil engineering works including two large bridges, new stations and a new depot at New Cross Gate. NEC3 Option C Target Cost Contract of £363million value.

Metronet Track ProgrammeA 30 year PPP contract for upgrading two-thirds of the London Underground Infrastructure covering trains, stations, signalling, track and tunnels.Based at the Ruislip depot I was responsible for the depot prelims and cost associated with transport of materials (ballast, rail) for weekend possession for the BCV (Bakerloo, Central & Victoria) and SSL (Sub Surface Lines) teams.
