Field Operations Coordinator
CurrentRoles and Responsibilities:The Field Operations Coordinator will be responsible for the following:- Interact and communicate with homeowners in a respectful, sensitive manner through the entire rebuild process.- Conduct technical evaluations; inspect and assess projects for minor and moderate home repairs.- Lead groups of volunteers on build sites. Determine tasks for skilled and unskilled volunteers.- Complete skilled carpentry tasks on job sites.- Develop material and supply lists.- Train volunteers and AmeriCorps members on how to safely use power tools and equipment.- Provide instruction and supervision to AmeriCorps members, including those in the Nacy and Josephine Fradella Job Training Program.- Meet timelines and strive to go under budget on each construction project.- Work with RTNO staff members to provide general construction oversight on volunteer and federal grant projects.- Coordinate delivery and/or pick up of project supplies and materials.- Coordinate and pull materials, safety equipment and supplies for large scale volunteer builds.- Execute special projects as assigned.
