I am responsible for the team of staff and freelance announcers on BBC One, Two and BBC Four. The Television continuity announcer is a warm and welcoming personality for the BBC. The team are fully briefed with the marketing plans, and channel strategies to deliver creative and engaging scripts and announcements in the their natural style and adapting tone and style for mood and moment.I'm particularly proud of the work we've done to extend the range of voices onair. Making the continuity announcer relevant to a wider range of audiences across the UK. We see the Television announcer as a trusted friend for the viewer, navigating them through the schedule with thoughtful and targeted reccomendations.
