About Jonathan Hunter
I'm passionate about good journalism and creative storytelling. I work at WNYT in Albany, NY as a news reporter and fill-in anchor. I received my Masters Degree from American University in Journalism. I graduated from Greensboro College in December of 2013. At Greensboro College, I was Editor of "The Collegian", an award winning student newspaper and a play by play commentator with the Sports Information Department.In undergrad, I developed skills in writing, public speaking and leadership. During the summers of my junior and senior year, I interned at television stations in Baltimore. During my time in the newsroom, I learned a lot about the business. I quickly became familiar with TV terms and understood the jobs of everyone in the newsroom. Those internships confirmed my desire to be a reporter.
