About Jonathan Hyde
My current position is working as an HRIS Manager with Amentum. I have been in this role since July 2023. Prior to that I was with Pacific Architects and Engineers (PAE) before they were acquired by Amentum, and I have been in an HR manager role with PAE since October 2010, when I was still with Defense Support Services (DS2 - which was acquired by PAE in 2011).I provide HRIS leadership, training and support to 35,000 Amentum employees, as a Workday system administrator supporting government contracts & work in the US and overseas, multiple currencies, a wide variety of employees (including union, non-union SCA, staff, executive, local national & 3rd country national employees), and integrations & data transfers to multiple downstream systems.Here is a little bit of my background:I started in payroll with Lockheed Martin in 1998. I had a wide variety of payroll and finance-related responsibilities, and worked for Lockheed Martin until 2004.In August 2004, Lockheed Martin and Day & Zimmerman formed a joint venture company, called Defense Support Services (DS2). When we became DS2, I moved to HR. Much of my previous work was related to HR, but at this point now it was official. I took on a much larger role in our HR operations as DS2 grew. When DS2 was acquired by PAE, and then PAE was acquired by Amentum, my roles and responsibilities have continued to grow and evolve with each acquisition.Overall, I provide HR leadership in a wide variety of areas, including:HRIS – especially setup, reporting and administrationCompliance – internal/external audit, labor law compliance.
