The Director of Technology & Facilities is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the school-wide internet and telephony network, hardware, and software. They are also responsible for training staff and faculty as well as being available for technology support. Maintain school wide network, databases, and hardware. Create advertisements, viewbooks, newsletters, annual reports, and other informational pieces for both print and web. Responsible for the design and maintenance of school website. Send out weekly (and occasionally) daily communication to the school community. Manage the school's technology budget, and responsible for purchasing iPads and laptops for the students, teachers, and staff. Make technological recommendations to teachers, staff, the Head of School, and the Board of Trustees.

Train teachers how to implement technology into their classrooms. Develop related instructional materials for teachers. Help research, improve, and establish our 1:1 laptop program. Actively pursue new ideas and methods involving the use of technology in the classroom as well as the school, including e-Learning and online programs. Assist the Director of Technology with maintaining student and teacher laptops, 2 computer labs, and the school network. Help with software support in, but not limited to: classroom management software, security software, Adobe products, Microsoft products, various Windows and Apple operating systems (Including Windows 7), educational software, and other software used in the school by both the teachers and students. Help in budget planning for the technology department and help with wired and wireless network design and implementation.
