The responsibilities of an CIRT Internal Review Specialist (CIRT IRS) are to review and process all newly created S-9’s submitted from inspectors using company systems (SAP, Engage, Plantir, iHawk, PTT Project Manager) to analyze and evaluate the inspector’s conclusions per the OH & UG Job Aid, GO-95, GO-128, GO-165 compliance standards, and PG&E construction standards per the TIL. Serves as the subject matter expert (SME), providing oversight and guidance on more complex field scenarios. The process would involve reviewing an inspector’s comments, photos and FDAs and correcting any discrepancies to produce an Electric Corrective Tag (EC) that can be used by estimation, engineering, and construction to perform the necessary repairs. Detailed comments are placed in all S-9 and ECs explaining the condition that is out of compliance. Duplicate ECs are processed and/or merged per CIRT guidance. Returns incomplete records to originator or Supervisor for correction and ensures all records and findings are maintained for potential future audits. When an emergency condition presents during the review process, CIRT IRS will notify Distribution Operation dispatch so the appropriate asset can mitigate the emergency.Compliance Inspector responsibilities included Overhead and Underground Electrical Distribution visual inspection. This required familiarity with GO 95, GO 128 and GO 165 standards. The Inspector role required some manual work elements including but not limited to: Lifting of Underground vault covers, minor repair work on wooden poles and underground enclosures, vault water pumping etc.
