I was one of the first employees of this brand new area radio station and helped create the mission, vision and values as well as the original branding. The station's mission was 'to provide a voice and presence for the non profit community' in Northeast Wisconsin. In my position as Community Development Director, I created and administered the Community Partner Grant Program which gave free airtime to local nonprofit groups and organizations through an application/granting process. I acted as the station ambassador and represented the station at nonprofit and community events. I published a weekly newsletter, contributed to the website and social media pages, produced PSAs and audio reports and also acted as on-air talent during station pledge drives.
