I am now working with a team of expert social media managers with years of experience, and a singular drive to get our company and products in front of as many folks as possible. I will spend my days engaging our audience via social media platforms, and figuring out how to give them what they want, in a fair exchange.In the last year or so I've managed social media (Twitter, facebook, Lanyrd, Snapchat, Instagram) for several events including OSCON, the O'Reilly Software Architecture Conference, the O'Reilly Security Conference; located both domestically in the U.S. as well as Internationally (London, Amsterdam.)I've dealt with several social media 'incidents' such as a 'gamer gate' attack during one of our conferences, and handled a backlash of unhappy customers during a transition period at my current company. This involved working out of normal hours of operation, and working from mobile locations with minimal support.

Managing a small store in the mid west, (Pittsburg Kansas) running $850k annual, 25 partners. Before that, working in several stores in Northern California from entry-level to assistant manager. Extensive customer service, and training experience as well as presenting to the public at large about coffee in general, and Starbucks specifically.

I started out as Purchasing Coordinator, and worked through several positions and locations as the company was bought and reorganized several times. As Beta Test Coordinator I helped facilitate the testing of software products by 500 international testers. Utilizing Filemaker Pro, and a testing website, testers would report bugs, and I would compile reports, and submit them to the development team and producers.
