Since 2009, I have worked within both the Inspection, Compliance and Enforcement (ICE) Division and the Sustainability and Applied Sciences (SAS) Division of NSECC. I provide strategic and operational leadership to support departmental and government priorities. I also represent Nova Scotia on provincial, regional, and national working groups and committees.I routinely work with or lead multi-disciplinary, intra- and interdepartmental experts on government initiatives to protect Nova Scotians from the harmful effects of land and water pollutants and provide program leadership in managing the risks associated with contaminated sites, hazardous materials, dangerous goods, toxic chemicals, and solid waste.

Project Manager/Environmental Scientist between 2001 and 2009. Successfully completed many projects ranging from Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) to remedial programs at large industrial facilities. Technical and project management experience in environmental assessment, remediation, industrial/institutional decommissioning, hazardous waste management, solid waste management and environmental compliance reviews.
