Network Administration:Administrate & ensure all IT components including Networks, Servers, Storage, Workstations, Laptops, Data Protection, Backup, User Accounts, Telecommunications and all associated Softwares (back office & client facing). Systems must be available, performing well and have appropriate security for all personnel within the organization. IT Manager:Oversee technical projects'​ development, prioritization & completion. These involve managing & following up with either our technical team members, venders' technicians & developers & coordinating between them. Scientific R&D to develop functional spec sheets, new configuration standards & procedures, produce training materials & conduct training sessions, then follow up with inspections. Overall coordination of technological roll-outs & overhauls. Lending supporting & advising Fielded Project Managers, Installers, Service Technicians & Sales people.

When we setup our own Command Center I moved out of daytime field work to play a primary role building our network & training SOCC staff. We needed everything; Network, server & workstations, PC security, policy & procedures development, training all staff & first Command Center manager.

As a hands-on field systems technician I was our primary person responsible to spec, configure, network & install all devices. I assisted with engineering/re-engineering. Other jobs were R&D, QC, cable management, routing or communicating/cooperating with site IT staff or third party IT staff, customer training, contractor training (esp for our higher standards of having our cameras properly focused for night-time use), & trouble-shooting.
