When the pandemic hit, I kind of figured that I- a person who has built a life running fun events- was about to be out of work for awhile. When, a few weeks later, someone hired me to run an event on Zoom, I thought, "there won't be a lot of these." But then the messages kept coming. I realized that with no one able to see one another in person any more, we needed fun more than ever. More than that, we needed a way to stay connected. Then the world reopened, and I saw the problem persisted. Sure, many offices were back together in-person, but the people who worked there were still somehow starving for those same two things: Joy and connection.So these became the mission of our company. To spread these two virtues. For our part, we did it through events built around games. Team Trivia. Feud Nights. Board Game Mixers. Each event we ran was meant to be fun and playful while also creating space to engage with your friends and coworkers as you played.We built company teambuilding events, but also experiences at bars and restaurants that anyone could enjoy if they chose to buy a ticket. We built board game speed dating nights, trivia pub crawls, showcase nights for local game designers, and more. And as we did, we strived to instill those same values within our company, building a job our staff would enjoy working every day and something we were proud of. Here are some things we've done in that time...* We've hosted over a thousand events.* We've run events for Facebook, Google, Amazon, Harvard, MIT, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ernst & Young, and even Katie Couric herself.* We have nothing but 5 star reviews on Google. Seriously, no one has ever even given us four stars.* We've expanded to 5 different states, including Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York and Illinois.
