Developed real-time data acquisition, monitoring, and processing software and hardware to support missions at the Air Force Technical Applications Center (AFTAC) and the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty. These end-to-end solutions have been fielded in remote locations around the world.I was the lead software engineer responsible for software design, review, implementation, testing, documentation, packaging, and on-going support for a multitude of seismic, hydroacoustic, and infrasound arrays deployed worldwide.Our software products saw many dozens of releases comprised of thousands of commits over the years. From 2001 on, packaging these releases and verifying their integrity was my responsibility.I wrote and maintained software that provided the following functions:* Acquire the digitized waveform data in one-second chunks from one or more array multiplexers* Store the data to disk in a fixed-size circular buffer* Verify signatures on data frames to ensure their authenticity* Archive the data for permanent storage in an industry-standard database format known as CSS3.0* Repackage the data for transmission to national and international data centers* Monitor the health of the arrays graphically and via various notification mechanisms* Remotely command and control downhole digitizers and authenticators via GTK+, nCurses, and command-line interfaces* Remotely calibrate the downhole digitizers via GTK+ interfaces
