Recently accepted a full-time permanent position with Kahuna as an EI&C Designer II. The industry is oil and natural gas. We design a variety of plants for many different clients abroad. With previous experience in the water and waste water treatment facility design I was able to leverage this experience to assist the capturing of this position.Time to learn as much as I can about this industry to become a more knowledgeable team member.

Design and see installed power, lighting, and lighting controls. Create construction documentation utilizing Autodesk Revit / AutoCAD, and Bentley Micro-station software to create one-lines diagrams, power plans, RCP's, riser diagrams, network riser diagrams, elevations for equipment layout, and any other needed drawing and content to convey the correct information. Some of the immediate projects are DIA Concourse B and C Expansions, C470 Widening project which include power for the lighting and lighting layout, as well as a lot of other smaller projects SSG MEP has ongoing.

Electrical drawings consist of Single Line Diagrams, Power Plans, Lighting Plans, Schedules, Site Power Plans, and Control Schematics. The combination of AutoCAD 2015 (2D), AutoCAD MEP 2015 (3D), and Revit MEP 2015 (3D) are used to generate the drawings needed to convey clear design intent. AutoCAD P&ID 2015 is used to generate the P&ID drawings needed to clearly convey the overall design.

Supply animated walk-throughs and still life imagery, to allow periodic design feature reviews; working in conjunction with BIM processes to assist with client design concepts and budget allowance.The processing of drawing libraries which include construction documents, collected over multiple years by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). This includes the processing and organization, into a logical timeline, all associated drawings into their respective projects in chronological order, for easy file collection or review.
