•Lead full design process of custom airborne electronic hardware, including BOM selection, schedule and budget, assembly, testing, quality control, and product delivery•Design airborne control systems using microcontroller units to replace antiquated EOL systems•Conduct failure mode and root-cause analysis to continuously improve repair processes•Prototype and design electronic circuits, schematics, and PCB layouts for airborne equipment, interfacing with CPCI, VME, MCU, and FPGA systems•Design mockup of aircraft equipment to simulate hardware usage and real-world scenarios in lab•Design housing and UI control panels for camera control systems•Create and publish engineering drawing packages (BOM, Schematics, PCB Layout, Assembly Instructions, Firmware Flashing, Test Reports)•Troubleshoot and repair failed aircraft equipment, maintain repair procedure documentation including mechanical and electrical engineering drawings and flowcharts
