Working as a Stage Automation Operator on the Pearl, an audience lift capable of holding 200 guests, supported by 14 Serapid Chains. My responsibilities include the Operation and monitoring of the platform and theater using NAVIGATOR Software. Operations include performing daily safety checks, playing the show via cues and time code, and moving the platform during maintenance.I monitor the time code to ensure that the platform moves at the correct time with the media content, as well as ensuring audience safety via IO signals from safety features such as balustrades and mag locks on entrance doors. I also monitor the status of the Serapid chains via encoders, loadcells, and Stromag limits.
