My job consist of pretty much anything and everything that needs to be done. When I get to work in the morning I get with my supervisor during the morning meeting where we go over the agenda for the day. I then go around the area and see what is left from the night before. I check all containers to make sure that they are correct and go to my assigned station. When we get a break from lack of work flow I check other areas to see what help if any I can assist with. My main job is to inspected finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. If anything is in need of repair I do so according to our guidelines. I also actively suggested operational improvements to enhance quality, improve production times. I am on the quality side of the building in which we receive the finished product and inspect it for any kind of defect and like I said before we repair what is needed. When the window or lite as we call it gets to me we first inspect it for blemish that may be causing a halo effect on the unit. Whatever defects we find we then take a laser and remove or cut out that part of the tec of the lite leaving nothing but a pin hole of a mark. After that we take it to the finally quality check before shipping to insure that it has been repaired properly and that there are no other issues. Show less

My job consisted of reading blueprints for a large selection of rollers and frames for conveyors that we were building. I would take that info and input it into varies tube cutting machines and punch press machines and once everything was set i would start my current job.
