As the worldwide leader, developer and manufacturer of innovative protective packaging systems, Signode develops highly engineered products designed and engineered for specific markets and applications; systems that protect customers finished products, streamline production and improve customer profits.Current responsibilities include: research and development, product/project management and direct sales of automated packaging machinery for both the national account and independent corrugated marketplace throughout the US, Canada, Mexico and Latin America. Provide sales, technical and engineering support to 65+ sales representatives and 80+ service engineers in securing and maintaining packaging machinery and systems averaging $360,000 per sale. Successes: Grew Packaging equipment market share from 20% to 80% annually after successfully redesigning and re-bundling Signode's unitizing and compression strapping equipment offering. Increased sales from 12 units sold in 2011 to 40+ units sold per year today, representing $10mm in annual sales and 60% variable margin growth during my tenure. This has resulted in the most successful product re-launch in Signode's 100+ year history!

United States

Managed 8 corrugated industry key account sales representatives representing $31mm in annual consumable sales and $5.5mm in annual special purpose packaging equipment sales. Responsibilities included growing overall sales and profitability, developing and growing national accounts, coordinating OEM equipment integrators and adding market input for the overall development of specific application machinery and consumable products. Grew annual sales by $10mm in two years.

Northeast Quadrant- Usa

Managed 6 direct sales representatives within the 16 state Northeast region representing $16mm in annual consumable and equipment sales. Responsibilities included profitable sales growth and overall regional profitability through hiring, training, coaching, developing and directing a value-added sales force. Maintained and managed a $1.7mm annual operating budget.

New England Area

Responsible for sales and service of protective packaging equipment and consumables to existing and prospective customers within the defined sales territory. Worked independently and consistently exceeded sales quota and profitability goals. Grew consumable sales from $600,000 to $2mm+ annually. Continuously outsold sales peers in capital equipment- averaging $620,000/yr. Became one of the only sales representatives in Signode's history to reach 100%+ of quota in all six consumable product classes as well as 100%+ equipment goal within the same year (did this twice). Awarded Signode's premier "Gold Seal" status for seven consecutive years in a row. Became the "train the trainer" for the sales region.

Concord, New Hampshire

Responsibility for the sale of disability, life and group health insurance policy's to local businesses and individuals in the greater Concord, New Hampshire area. Successfully passed the life, health, property and casualty and series 6 exam to become a successful insurance and annuity sales representative. Gained valuable sales experience where I learned prospecting, proposal writing, presentation skills and client follow up/follow thru strategies. Developed 'thick skin' and matured as a sales representative.
