ELGKC is a small employment law firm for which I was the only staff, so my position was very multi-faceted, fast-paced, and required great flexibility, attention to detail, and high-level written and verbal communication skills. I handled all paralegal duties as well as office administration. Some of these tasks included the following:- Conduct in-depth interviews with potential clients to gather case information.- Draft and edit pleadings, discovery, and correspondence for submission to courts, clients, and counsel.- Assist in planning and hosting 2016 National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) Eighth Circuit Conference.
