At AGI, I had the opportunity to work in the Tramco division, specifically in Application Engineering and Sales Execution. Throughout the duration of this internship, I had the opportunity to work on numerous conveyor drawings using Solidworks, AutoCAD, and eProDrawings, I worked in quoting numerous spare Tramco conveyor components, and also worked closely with project managers in executing bids by working on conveyor drawings representing customer spaces. While working on all these, I: • Processed several hundred conveyor drawings, drawing key information, and effectively cutting down the quoting process by 67%.• Quoted several conveyor components to global corporations in a time-effective manner. • Worked closely on several large projects with project managers, helping in: o Drafting engineering blueprints in existing customer locations. o Processing conveyor specifications into engineering documents. o Configured conveyors from company-standard measurements into customer-specific needs.

At Sherman Mechanical, I worked alongside several project managers in the HVAC department. With all of their active bids under time constraints and predetermined schedules, existing and new ductwork blueprints needed to be finished effectively and properly. Under these project managers, I was able to: • Process several hundred ductwork plans, effectively saving between 30 minutes to 3 days worth of work. • Worked on variety of ductwork plans, spanning from small convenience stores to 3-floor office spaces to large university laboratory spaces. • Use CAD software to estimate sheet metal ductwork pricing for various businesses given specific parameters concerning type of ductwork, city codes, etc. all under project/bid schedules. • Manually calculated air CFM flow for empty mechanical drawings that were still under active development yet needed rough estimates, by using air unit measurements and effective space sizes.

Under Dr. Jahred Adelman, myself and 2 other undergraduate students worked together in providing supplemental help in a Physics 1 lecture. Alongside this, we worked closely with Dr. Mike Eads in better understanding how to effectively communicate concepts and help students better learn difficult concepts. This involved studying different metacognitive methods, observing real-life situations, and reading several studies. The result was a blended classroom setting where lecture was taught, and students had the opportunity to work through textbook problems with the help of students knowledgeable on the physics topics and knowledgeable in teaching methods.
