I am a National Board Certified Teacher presently teaching K-12 music in a small rural district. I have 22 years of experience teaching junior high band and choir, and high school band and choir. Of those 22 years, 14 have also included teaching elementary general music. I am a consistent presenter at both state and northwest division music education conventions, and an internationally published composer of school band music with over 20 pieces in print; nearly half being recognized on editors choice and top 100 lists. I am also the co-founder (2017) and co-director of Valley Winds, a community concert band, and the director of the Okanogan Valley Chorus since 2014. In my free time I enjoy movies, video games, and video editing.
