I taught violin, musicianship and ensemble playing at Big Noise Raploch, a social programme that uses music to help transform the lives of young people.

I worked as a freelance orchestral musician with Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Manchester Camerata, Camerata Ireland amongst others. Commercial work included playing with Katherine Jenkins, Il Divo, Burt Bacharach, Joss Stone, Angelique Kidjo, Phantom of the Opera (touring show) and Royal Variety Performance.I am currently a member of Tesseris String Quartet, a chamber ensemble that champions contemporary classical music.

Taught undergraduate students in the Department of English and Linguistics (British Studies). Was responsible for administering courses and marking exams for over 300 students each semester.
