Instruction - Institute and manage the training program in the Information Technology Systems Management class. Select and develop teaching aids and real world skills tests to train students for hands on work in the I.T. field. Test students to determine the effectiveness of the training material, and the instruction. Select or develop demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer software, and reference materials. Select and develop specifications for machines, equipment, and tools. Cooperate with outside agencies; work with program advisory committees; conduct visits to business; and establish and maintain good relations with the general public. Participate in recruitment of students, i.e. talk to high school classes, and other forms of community involvement. Instruct students in current industry work ethic professionalism and safety. Supervise and follow-up on students that are participating in cooperative education and/or internship programs. Help with student placement and resume writing.I.T.
