Network Engineer

Provide Network Systems support for the City of Blakley and surrounding cities. Support fiber broadband/LTE technologies integrated into city network infrastructure.

Perform SAS Administrative and Support activities across a multi-environment infrastructure including security administration, release management, troubleshooting and general systems maintenance. Serve as a primary point of contact for Production Support/User Access issue resolution. Review and Assess Current state and identify improvement opportunities and best practice recommendations for Target State Netezza Database environment. Rationalize current environments and drive efficiencies while maintaining robust services for Business users. Experience with SAS 9.2/9.3 industry BI/Reporting toolsets including Enterprise Guide, Data Intergration Studio, InfoMap Studio, Olap Cube Sudio, MicroStrategy, Cognos, Composite, Informatica. Experience with Oracle, DB2, Netezza, Teradata, or SQL databases. Experience with the creation and maitainence of metadata repositories. Perform SAS development activities from gathering requirements and designing solutions, through developing code / reports, to testing and release / deployment.
