I am an IT audit, controls and SAP specialist with 15 years experience working in a Big 4 audit firm across a range of industries. A Director within KPMG Audit, I lead the technology audit side of both Financial Statements Audits and integrated ICOFR audits, typically for large, multinational organisations in the FTSE 100.I have led the technology audits for 3 FTSE 50 global consumer goods companies, and as well as numerous FTSE 100 companies with large SAP estates. As part of this role, I have helped companies to enhance their IT controls frameworks and improve their governance and controls compliance.On top of this role, I also head the SAP auditing capability for KPMG UK. Having build a team of SAP controls specialists within the IT audit practice in 2018, I am responsible for: developing SAP controls matrices, methodology and testing guidance; development and delivery of the SAP auditing training curriculum; development and deployment of SAP automation, innovation and technology; provision of specialist support on SAP controls deficiencies, risk and impact assessment, and remediation; and the global role out of SAP controls technologies and training to member firms across EMA, Asia and North America.Prior to my current role, I spent a number of years working in Technology Risk Consulting, advising organisations on the robustness of their controls frameworks, as well as designing and implementing IT controls frameworks for SOx organisations across multiple processes, including Finance, Procurement, Revenue, Treasury and GRC.
