A key component of this work has been recommending evidence-based efficiency improvements and cost reduction strategies – via strategic development opportunities in support of both ‘next steps’ and longer-term organisational adjustments.I am currently co-lead to conduct a delta-analysis and benchmark of the SPOs’ current collaborative profile and Maturity Matrix against the ISO 44001 – Collaborative Business Relationship Management Systems. I have designed and implemented the methodologies required to obtain, analyse and report on collaborative working behaviours across five SPOs in Maritime Systems Division.I am very experienced in developing high quality, timely, specialist commercial, procurement, tendering and contracting solutions. I have led the development and management of procurement policy and commercial professionalisation in Defence.I have also recently established the commercial capability and governance function within Defence's Chief Information Officer Group's Directorate of Interoperability Delivery (IOP) Minors program. An important part of our achievements can be found in resolving several outstanding policy inconsistencies, particularly with respect to policy issued by Department of Finance, Defence Finance Group and the Digital Transformation Agency. We have ensured that all Defence policy outputs are efficient, legally compliant and aligned to Defence responsibilities, and broader Government commercial objectives.
