I currently manage over 50 personnel in all aspects of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) program. Directs the Strategic Weapons System (SWS) preventative maintenance management program (PMMP) and scheduling for the PMs, while ensuring that all safety regulations per OSHA and corporate policies were met. As a Master Training Specialist, manages all aspects of curriculum and training management supporting over 48 courses of instruction using the Planning, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation, and Maintenance (PADDIE-M) model given at the TRIDENT Training Facility. Audit maintenance management programs, conventional ordnance qualification and certification programs to ensure 100% compliance with all safety and administrative program requirements. • Provide quantitative/qualitative evaluation on the effectiveness of management and program operations in meeting established goals and Nuclear Weapons Surety objectives.

Advised and effectively communicated at the executive level with the Commanding Officer regarding the Weapons Department in the execution of operations, planning, training, qualifications and internal team development. Managed, developed and mentored over 60 personnel in 7 different work centers including 5 front line supervisors in mission execution, daily operations, maintenance, training, qualifications and counseling. Inspected and directed preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and all electronics of the Attack Weapon System (AWS). Performed audits and surveillances on AWS maintenance, including root cause analysis and corrective actions. Provided reports, logbooks, and other maintenance documentation to include Trouble Failure Reports (TFRs), Strategic Weapon System Personnel Incident Reports (SWSPIRs) for effectiveness of maintenance requirements.

Developed and managed curriculum and courseware for five SWS courses. Spearheaded major revision of all upper-level courses realigning and targeting relevant information to the Strategic Weapons Enterprise. Led 12 personnel in the conduct of two software updates, one hardware upgrade, over 5000 man-hours of maintenance, and nearly 10,000 hours of training. Directly trained and mentored SSBN Weapons, Navigation, Executive, and Commanding Officers through classroom and practical application exercises. Continuously monitored processes for any process improvements and notified the General Manager of improvement opportunities.

Led and developed 20 personnel, with a high turn over-rate, in both the Strategic Missile and Strategic Fire Control Divisions during 7 Strategic Deterrent Patrols and 7 maintenance upkeep periods. Prepared weekly maintenance, training and qualification schedules, managed maintenance operations, and prepared reports and briefings to document results. Inspected and directed preventative maintenance programs, troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, missile heating and cooling systems and all electronics of the Nuclear Weapons Launcher and Fire Control systems and missiles. Served as a Nuclear Weapons Quality Assurance Safety Observer during missile transfers, responsible for ensuring compliance with nuclear weapons safety and security requirements.

Coordinated the planning, and execution of PMMP for the SWFLANT Electronic Security System which consisted of over 5000-man hours of maintenance. Supervised the installation of a complex surveillance system to aid the security forces and saving the Navy thousands of dollars by streamlining the installation process. Managed and coordinated the school and qualification process for a division of 18 personnel.

Missile Technician responsible for maintenance, calibration, operation and troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulics, missile heating and cooling systems and all electronics of the Strategic Weapon Fire control and Launcher systems and missiles. Quality assurance inspector and Controlled Material Manager for the Strategic Weapons System. Ensured maintenance on the Strategic Weapons System was performed with zero deficiencies and in accordance with the Fleet Maintenance Quality Assurance Manual.
