BioLife transferred ownership of the software division to its joint venture partner, Savsu Technologies, which consolidates the software platforms and hardware into a single company, specializing in the IoT of thermally integral, always connected, cellularly networked packaging for cell and gene therapies and cold chain tracking. The role of Director of Software Development encompasses planning and strategizing software solutions to an emerging marketplace, where some biological therapies are valued in the range of $400k-$500k and are considered life-saving treatments in many situations. The software provides the records of the journeys of these packages, called Evos. The packages broadcast their geolocation, internal and external temperatures, tilt position, barometric pressure, light exposure, and more. Logistics and shipping companies shipment events are combined with the package data to provide clear, critical reports of the transport of the life-saving biologic payload.The director leads the software team in an agile environment, acting as project and product manager, as well as software designer and engineer.

Leading the software development team, building a cloud-based SaaS. In a dual role, both as project manager and full-stack engineer for an AngularJS, Django REST Framework, AWS-hosted logistics application. The application converges UPS shipping API, a proprietary cellular IoT device API, user and group management, and a powerful thermal cold-chain transport. Management responsibilities include building the software team and managing personnel, risk assessment, CFR 21 Part 11 compliance, and leading the software development team in an Agile with scrum development methodology. Sr. Software Engineer responsibilities include AngularJS development with Django Rest Framework, Django views, models, and tools development and planning, environment and design standardization, and short- and long-term feature planning.
