This includes the management and future development of the Ashmolean’s ICT encompassing the Museum’s network infrastructure, network servers, networked MFDs, desktop hardware, fixed-line telephones and mobile devices. The post-holder, as WebMaster, is also responsible for implementing, developing and running the Museum’s websites.The Head of ICT currently has line management responsibility for two IT Support Assistants, including their personal and professional development, training and absence management.The Head of ICT has budget responsibility for up to £220K p.a. which covers operational costs and payroll and producing funding applications for future developments, such as new servers, firewalls and websites.The current full job description is too long for this box, so is in an attached document.
