Operations Manager:Responsible for employee accountability and adherence to franchise and system standards and policies, enforcing the employee manual and mover/driver standards.Reviews financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvementDetermines staffing requirements, interview, hires and trains new employees, or oversees these processesEnsures staffing goals are metDirects employee scheduling and dispatch of movers and driversResponsible for employee development and corrective action programsRelays all unemployment, workman’s compensation, and insurance claims to the General Manager or the HR Department in a timely mannerCoordinates and directs the fleet maintenance and equipment inventory programsEnsures compliance with all DOT regulations and FMCSA guidelinesHandles customer concerns and enforces the damage resolution processResponsible for being the “on-call” emergency contact outside of normal business hoursTo prevent accidents, damages, follow/ promote the franchise’s safety policies and/ or proceduresParticipates in regular training and development programs
