Responsible for, • Ensuring DART (Drug & Alcohol Recovery Team) was established and perceived as a distinct and independent service and it is fully integrated into prison establishment.• Ensuring that DART was aligned closely and effectively with community based services.• To develop, identify, cohesion and effective joint working and a shared ethos amongst the commissioned providers.• To ensure the development of the service to achieve delivery to operational and budgetary standards.• Overseen the implementation and development of whole system change in drug and alcohol treatment provision across the North East Prison Estate. • Development of Promotion and marketing techniques for substance misuse stakeholders and customers to raise awareness of risks.• Planned, designed and implemented conferences for a range of topics and multi-disciplinary fields.• Planned, designed and organized a prison based social enterprise initiative, based on rehabilitation of offenders.
