I worked a rotational position in Singapore in which I am commissioning BOP's and BOP controls. I am currently involved in the installation, troubleshooting and testing of NOV equipment before handing it over to the customer. Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics, wiring diagrams and interconnect diagrams are part of my everyday scope of work. -

I am in charge of operating, testing and maintaining B.O.P. control systems. I complete FAT and CAT for the Fluid Control Group at FM 529. I test ultra deep water MUX systems as well as jack-up systems. I ensure that NOV's quality standards and deadlines are met. My daily objectives include; troubleshooting hydraulic and electrical problems, coordinating with engineering to ensure all drawings are up to date, correct and have been implemented correctly and interacting with customers to ensure all levels of satisfaction. I also interact with regulatory and inspection agencies such as DNV and ABS.Some of the projects that I have been involved with are:Seadrill 6,7,8,9,10 Pacific Drilling 5,6,7,8Noble DS 6, 7, 8Ensco B329, B330, DS 7,8,9

As a Senior Supervisor, the range of my responsibilities expanded to the planning, procurement and directing crew members in offshore pipeline commissioning projects.All documents filed with MMS and customers fell under my direct responsibility.As a senior employee with a small company I also was in charge of daily shop duties and inventory management.

The scope of my responsibilities expanded to assisting in procurement and planning of offshore and land commissioning projects.These projects included pipeline hydro-testing, drying, dewatering, chemical cleaning, nitrogen purging,pipe-fitting, and plug and abandonment.I still held the responsibilities of a Field Technician while offshore or on projects.Also, I took a larger role in running and maintaining heavy duty pipeline equipment.I also began learning how to complete numerous documents in compliance with MMS and The Department of Transportation.As well, I held daily JSA's and completed Daily Progress Reports.As a Senior Technician I also assisted in relaying information to our customers and our main office
