I am an Imperial College London Mechanical Engineering graduate. I achieved a first-class in every year and was awarded Dean's List for achieving in the top 10% of grades. I was also selected to represent Imperial for an additional semester abroad at ETH Zurich in 2020. At ETH, I deepened my knowledge of AI and robotics by programming a small autonomous car among other projects.I have an interest in low-carbon energy and sustainability and worked for EDF Energy for a year-in-industry as a radiological consequences analyst before university. Here, I wrote a program in VBA to automate the calculation of radiation dose to the public resulting from hypothetical nuclear fault scenarios. I believe business and finance power our society and have vast potential to galvanise positive change, especially in the face of climate change. Therefore, I have taken the Business Economics and Finance courses as electives at Imperial Business school to deepen my understanding of the world.I am also interested in robotics and software. I completed an internship with the Mechatronics in Medicine Lab at Imperial, designing an artificial neural network capable of classifying white matter and grey matter from OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) scans of the human brain to over 90% accuracy. This used Python with TensorFlow and various data science libraries.I also have an interest in mixed reality. My Batchelor's thesis project involved the development of a tablet-based augmented reality software for planning and guiding brain surgery. This used Unity and C# and was for a novel brain surgery technique being developed by the EDEN2020 project.Alongside university, I ran with Imperial College Cross-Country and Athletics society and performed drums and piano in the Imperial Medics band.
