I worked as a Business Analyst on a £50m+ programme of technical change work at Allen & Overy, to replace the incumbent document management system with iManage. I was responsible for taking the lead BA role on two projects: Implemented GDPR / global data retention compliance within iManage to 5,550 employees across 44 offices in 31 countries with a project budget of £390k o Built a communications plan with senior stakeholders to presented to the business o Ran workshops with the Data Compliance Team to map out existing processes then created new ones under the new system. o Validated all functional and non-functional requirements. o Performed gap analysis on the proposed solution o Performed impact analysis to determine the effect of amending processes outside my immediate project. o Wrote UAT scripts and guided the Data Compliance Team through the process of signing off the final product. o QA’ed the final system configuration in Production. Produced any training materials necessary. Delivered revised versions of 3 core systems for legal staff to create & search closing sets of deal documents to 550+ users globally o Inherited mature project from incumbent BA. Wrote user stories for the in-house agile development team to create new functionality required by the stakeholders. o Assisted the in-house and external testing teams to verify all new functionality was working correctly. o Hosted bi-weekly meetings with the stakeholder group to communicate relevant news back to them from the programme and confirm any outstanding requirements. o Creation of training material.o Ran workshops with the Professional Support Lawyers (PSLs) to ascertain their requirements for a new search application. I worked with the vendor to deliver all new functionality requested then presented this back to the PSLs for sign off therefore being the consistent contact for the PSLs. o Writing support model documentation for sign off by support teams.

I then configured it to automatically manage employees' membership of email distribution lists based on HR attributes. Additional employee data was copied to AD for other internal systems to utilise. o Led the technical implementation of the new training system, which included configuring the Employee Self Service module to make it easier to use. o Responsible for configuring the Performance Management module as new parts of the business adopted it. o Creation and scheduling of regular reports which were sent out to other business functions who required basic HR data.
