May 2011 - present day: Technical solutions consultantProviding solutions to fulfil part of the company’s mobility strategy, bringing productivity tools utilising tablet and Smartphone technologies to users on the road. Working with developers and other system architects defining the mobility architectural framework and standards for application development and use on mobile devices.Additionally providing solutions to issues in the testing lab environment, and working with the lab manager and service owners consolidating the environment and investigating the use of cloud services to achieve substantial cost savings.Apr 2010 – Apr 2011: Technical ArchitectResponsible to the project manager for the design and implementation of archiving solution to resolve issues of growth, compliance and legal data retention requirements.Archiving solution designed to be resilient, ensuring data integrity through transfer and designed in such a way that it could be implemented at any site globally without additional development.Additionally responsible for the DMS upgrade, incorporating new features and enhancements to improve the stability, performance and usability of the system.Jan 2007 – Apr 2010: Technical Architect Responsible for the design and implementation of core infrastructure for the centralisation of 15 regional offices into 2 London based data centres. • Responsible to the network support manager as team leader for a team of 5 analysts providing technical support and development for the NT/W2K infrastructure for a an international law firm comprising of 150+ NT/Windows 2000 servers and 3000 desktops worldwide. • Duties included managing staff resources, balancing 3rd line support with development requirements; project management; assessing new technologies and their benefits to the business; support contract maintenance.• Projects implemented by the team include Secure Clustered Extranet and client specific secure websites and intra/internet, all hosted on Microsoft IIS services, Windows 2000 Professional worldwide, Citrix metaframe, many new SQL server based applications and several upgrades to other firm wide systems. • Other responsibilities included planning and implementation of infrastructure for new offices worldwide, and providing 24 x 7 supporting cover for all international and London offices.

• Responsible to the service manager. Duties included providing front line desktop support for Citibank staff using NT workstation in a Netware server NDS environment at all their sites in London

Responsible to the desktop services manager. Duties included providing primary server support for local server and network infrastructure for ICL CFM's offices in Enfield. Achievement:Complete redeployment and restructuring of the companies network infrastructure during office refurbishment within predefined timescales and with minimal user disruption.

Responsible to the Client services support manager for providing 24 hour primary support for 6 major mainframe applications and backup support for a further 5. Duties also included providing primary support for a number of automation software packages.Achievement:Maintaining integrity of all responsible applications. Implementing enhancements and improvements as required by the client on time and within budget.
