As a representative for Hewlett Packard, my main responsibilities are to go into stores (Best Buy, Staples, Costco, etc.) and deliver training to the store staff, work with management on promotion compliance, and perform retail sales work. Additional responsibilities include running training events for the staff of these stores as well as providing all information these stores need in regards to HP's product line and submitting reports for every visit. Because this job provides much autonomy with scheduling, I have excellent time management skills. Also, because of the significant amount of time spent interacting with others, I have strong interpersonal skills.

With this sales position, I managed vendor booths in Sam's Clubs and Costco stores. The responsibilities for this position included: set up and tear down of displays, maintenance of inventory logs, and work in retail sales. Excellent communications skills were needed for this position.

I started this job as a base employee and was soon promoted to Assistant Manager. My responsibilities included supervising and training new employees, creating inventory reports, placing product orders, filling out weekly sales reports, and completing daily cash counts. Other responsibilities involved setting up and managing catering events as well as performing basic janitorial duties. Great customer service and conflict resolution skills were needed to be successful in this position.
