• Facilitated the creation of a new Department of Environment and a ten-year Strategic Development Plan for the sub-area, Sozoranga. Led/facilitated community members in policy development, establishment of goals, project planning, project implementation and program evaluation.• Trained staff and development committees in project design, project management, project financing, budgeting, annual planning and annual plan evaluation.• Develop trail and facilities plans, and educational materials, for Podocarpus National Park and private parks. • Established and managed a new environmental NGO. Taught proposal development and project reporting, facilitated strategic planning workshops, and secured federal grant funding for reforestation efforts.• Collaborated with local NGOs on the development of a country plan for implementing the U.N. Global Environment Fund’s Small Grants Program for Palau.
