As a Nursing Student at the University of Saint Mary(Leavenworth), I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing through the Naval Medical Enlisted Commissioning Program (MECP), which provides an opportunity for enlisted service members to become commissioned officers in the Nurse Corps. I have completed an Associate of Arts in General Studies from Central Texas College and earned a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Marine Corps University.With over 14 years of experience as an Engineer Equipment Mechanic and a Senior Instructor at USMC, I have developed skills in PowerPoint, Clerical, and Troubleshooting, as well as obtained certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Basic Life Support Instructor from American Red Cross and American Heart Association. I am a motivated team player who strives to go above and beyond expectations and contribute to the organization's excellence and goals. I am also comfortable working independently or as a supportive member of a group. My passion is to help others and make a positive impact in the healthcare field.
