• Responsible for managing the Safety and Quality department and supervising a 5 member team over three shifts.• Served on a 3 member management team that led the successful implementation of AIB food contact manufacturing certification scoring above 90%, • 3 years experience in purchasing of outside finished products from international and national vendors, balancing vendor lead times and inventory levels to ensure product arrived in time to meet customer shipping schedules.• Ensures all imported containers comply with and are documented to meet Customs and Border Protection requirements.• Currently serving as C-TPAT program owner and committee chairman, coordinating companywide implementation and certification in U.S. Customs and Border Protection C-TPAT program.• Serve as key member of company Wellness committee to actively promote healthy lifestyle choices for employees and their families, thereby reducing company insurance claims.
