In line with the FCA Mission the Sector Views focus on identifying and defining the harms and drivers of harm within each sector. The Sector products help inform business planning and resource allocation across the FCA.

Last year we completed a review of Responsible Lending in the mortgage market and the Thematic Report was published in May 2016. I am currently working on a review of the Retirement Outcomes market.

Managing two multi skilled teams to deliver all of the different aspects of the FCA Approach to Supervision including proactive assessment of firms business models, redress and remediation relating to crystallised risks in firms of all sizes and design and delivery of thematic work to address conduct risks identified in multiple sub sectors.

Managing a team responsible for supervising a diverse range of Banks, Building Societies, Wealth Managers and Credit unions during the transition from FSA to FCA. Including oversight of a significant redress exercise for a major High Street Bank.

A manager of central risk assessment teams responsible for supervising over 14000 investment intermediaries, mortgage advisers and general insurance intermediaries. Role included managing a team responsible for identiifying and applying a consistent risk appetite and delivering processes supported by adequate management information to evidence delivery.

Supervision across a range of Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset Managers and Intermediaries over a number of years. Also reported directly to the FSA CEO on an internal project to consider reform of the retail market and cross sector comparisons with the new regulatory regimes for mortgage and general insurance intermediation. Reported to senior HMT.
