As the President of the Police Pension Board at Village of Olympia Fields, I oversee the administration and management of the pension fund for the police officers of the village. I work with the board members, the village board, and the pension fund administrator to ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the fund, as well as the compliance with the state laws and regulations. I also represent the interests and rights of the police officers and retirees in matters related to their pension benefits and contributions.I have over five years of experience as a police officer at Village of Olympia Fields, where I perform patrol, security, and asset protection duties, as well as respond to emergency calls, conduct investigations, and enforce laws. I am also the Union President of the police department, where I lead and support the collective bargaining unit and advocate for the welfare and professional development of the police officers. Additionally, I have 10 years of experience in the United States Army Reserves, where I received multiple honors and medals for my service and volunteerism. I hold a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, graduating cum laude, and several certifications, including field training officer, certified Glock armorer, and use of force instructor.
