Before that, I worked for a pharmaceutical manufacturer where I had the opportunity to supervise and lead a team of operators.In my current position, the main roles are to monitor, measure, analyze, and develop insights and recommendations to improve business performance and profitability of assets and products, as well as developing business plans and sensitivity scenarios to evaluate possible investments. Some of my key contributions to the role include:- Standardizing the process for developing and evaluating business plans for investments, which has been used to evaluate more than 20 investment opportunities.- Automating a performance report to reduce updating time from 1.5 days to half a day and improve accuracy.- Creating a semi-automated dashboard for tracking business segments.- Coordinating with departments to develop tools that reduce processing time for data analysis.With my experience and skills, I am confident in my ability to lead a team of professionals to drive business performance and process optimization. As financial analyst, my job was to report the end-month results and explian the variations between results and forecasts, track and explain KPI and summarize conclutions about the site´s KPIs.I also worked with different areas of the business to deliver savings.My main contribution in this role was to write an excell workbook with macros and pivot tables which allowed to track the waste produced during production, allowing the operators take action before the waste costes reaches the allowed limit.
