Software engineer with 3 years of experience in maintaining, developing, debugging, profiling, and tuning the Intel OpenMP parallel runtime library. This work has included major feature development, team collaboration, and work with the open source community. Some specific features that I worked on were the affinity mechanisms inside the the OpenMP library, creating a fine-grained statistics gathering functionality within the library for developers to find potential hotspots, and developing a CMake build system/llvm-lit test system for the open source LLVM OpenMP runtime library.My Master's of Science degree focused on the study and tuning of dense linear algebra kernels on the x86 architecture. Much of the work in this thesis was directed at architectural optimizations including assembly language programming, memory hierarchy considerations, and hardware vector unit utilization.
